Graybar, IMC Networks sign distribution agreement Electrical and communications/data products distributor will carry IMC Networks' line of media conversion and optical networking products

IMC Networks, a manufacturer of optical networking solutions for local, wide and metropolitan area networks, has signed a distribution agreement with Graybar, an independent wholesale distributor of electrical and communications/data products.

"Graybar is pleased to offer IMC Networks' line of networking products to provide our customers with a wide range of connectivity solutions to satisfy virtually any LAN/WAN and fiber optic installation requirement," said Dennis DeSousa, senior vice president, Comm/Data Business for Graybar.

Graybar will carry IMC Networks' stand-alone copper-to-fiber media converters and a wide variety of intelligent media and single-mode to multi-mode conversion products, including the industry's first Gigabit and 10/100 copper-to-fiber converters.

Graybar will also distribute IMC Networks' fiber optic repeaters for extreme long distance networking, optical Ethernet, broadband access and bandwidth management products.

"Having a distributor agreement with Graybar represents a milestone for IMC Networks and complements our existing distribution channels," said Michael Dailey, president and chief executive officer of IMC Networks.
