Branch Circuit Panelboard

The Branch Circuit Panelboard module is the base unit in the Virtual ElectricianÒ series and provides the groundwork for the rest of the modules. Among the many topics it presents are:

• Types of panelboards
  
• Wiring configurations
  
• Isolated grounding installations
  
• Test equipment application
  
• Harmonic loads and their effects on the power distribution system
  
• Improper neutral grounding bonding

When you complete the required sections you will be allowed to perform an electrical investigation for the panel. As is the case with each of the Virtual Electrician modules, forgetting your safety gear will result in a "virtual" electric shock.
