ShortStop is a cable fault finder that measures the length of a cable, finds opens and shorts, and traces and identifies cables and pairs. The product checks common cable pairs, including coax, two-wire shielded, twisted multi-pair, and AC wire pairs. It operates with a multi-tone injection for positive cable identification, features a 2,500-ft range, and the input is protected to 250 VAC. The internal components are protected against damage from moisture, and no adjustments are necessary for standard measurements.
