Carlon Adjustable Residential Floor Box

The Carlon Adjustable Residential Floor Box provides the customer with a clean, attractive duplex outlet, and is specifically designed for residential applications. The new residential floor box provides an alternative to commercial-looking products currently on the market. The tough ABS duplex cover features unique dual hinge caps that keep out dust and scrubwater and won't get lost while in use.

The adjustable floor box has a full 21 cubic inch capacity, and comes complete with the nonmetallic cover plate, duplex receptacle, integral molded cable clamps, mounting bracket, and all necessary hardware.

To install, simply cut an opening in the floor at the desired location. Next, mount the proper bracket to either the underside of the floor, or to the adjacent floor joist. By turning the adjustment clockwise or counterclockwise, the box can be raised or lowered to the proper floor height. The included receptacle and wire are then installed in accordance with the local electrical code. Finally the cover plate is attached to the installed assembly.
