The LinkMaster Tester, Model 62-200, checks continuity and configuration of twisted pair cables. The device tests for open circuits, shorts, miswires, reversals and split pairs. The product also tests shielded and unshielded cables. The device tests all common data wiring configurations and the shield detection feature tests cable shield integrity. The device also tests patch cords over 18 inches in length.
