Enhancements to Forefront Version 11 include a new Mobile Computing application for Service, a new Human Resources module, additional online help documentation and new features in the Payroll module.
Forefront Mobile Computing for Service runs on the Windows CE platform—which provides real-time synchronization with the main Forefront software—and allows field technicians to view work order information, enter work order data and capture customer signatures for work completed. The Human Resources module tracks all employee information (present, past and prospective), including history, performance reviews, training/certification, applicants, turnover, safety/OSHA and COBRA.
Forefront's online help documentation, which any Forefront user can access simply by pressing the F1 key, features new step-by-step "how-to" procedures such as "How to void a check." Enhancements to the Payroll module include the capability to create electronic data files for 401K and unemployment reporting and new retroactive pay and incentive pay options.
