Florida Electrical Contractors Renew August 31st

Here are the steps to renewing a Florida Electrical Contractors’ license:

Step 1. Complete all 14 of the required Florida electrical continuing education hours. There is a $50 late fee, so make sure to renew by the August 31st, 2014, deadline to keep an active license. After an individual's license has been renewed, he or she will be able to continue working as a Florida Electrical Contractor until the end of the next Florida license renewal cycle on August 31st, 2016.
