HellermannTyton provides structured cabling warranty program
When HellermannTyton's (Milwaukee, WI) system of connectivity products is used with several cable manufacturers, the company ensures the Basic Link and Channel performance for 25 years, in accordance with ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-A. The products covered under the program are:
All warranted installations must be completed by a certified installer — warranty application requirements must be followed. These requirements, along with certified installer training information, are listed in the "Structured Cabling System Warranty Program" brochure available from HellermannTyton.
Several cable manufacturers are partnering with the company as part of the program. The cable from the manufacturer partners has been tested to the current Category 5E standard and has successfully passed with the company's connectivity products at an independent test site. Currently, HellermannTyton is partnering with several cable companies.
In addition to announcing the 25-year complete system warranty, HellermannTyton offers a 15-year connectivity product warranty. This warrants the connectivity products to be free of factory defects in material and workmanship for a period of 15 years from date of shipment.
