Milwaukee Electric Tool announces new "heavy duty club"

Source: Milwaukee Electric Tool
This new club offers heavy-duty tool users, advice, benefits and the chance to win free tools

The club — sponsored by Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation (Brookfield, WI) — is a user's group for builders, contractors, electricians, plumbers, maintenance personnel and other professionals who use power tools every day. It's designed to give heavy-duty users access to tool tips, new products, a discussion bulletin board and information that will help them make more informed tool-buying and use decisions. In addition, the club will supply them with the latest news from the company as well as the chance to win free tools and "special member only" offers on other Milwaukee merchandise.

Heavy-duty tool users can become members free of charge by visiting the World Wide Web at www.heavydutytool.com. Here, you can register on-line and get access to

  • Tool Tips
  • Club Bulletin Board
  • Heavy Duty Club News
  • Tool and Accessory Spotlights
  • Tool Testimonials,
  • Magazine Articles
  • Racing Gear and other merchandise
  • User Surveys
  • Product information
Members can also store information on all of their tools in "My Tool Box" and register their Milwaukee tools on-line. In addition, the site will feature ongoing news about Milwaukee's #14 NASCAR Race Truck driven by Rick Crawford.

A newsletter has also been developed that will be mailed to members featuring valuable tool information and offers that can also be found on the Web site. If a heavy-duty tool user does not have access to the Internet, there are other ways to become a member. Registration forms will be available from Milwaukee or at distributors and retailers that sell Milwaukee Electric Tools. As the club grows, other member benefits and special offers will be added.
