Erico Inc.DDY Fastener old-work plate-mounting option eliminates electrical boxes on low-voltage Class 2 applications. The MP Series bracket boasts a new plastic design with a serrated interlocking system, ensuring a tight and secure installation every time. No screws or tools are required to secure the bracket in the drywall opening, and the bracket offers a wide application range for wall thickness.

With no sharp metal edges, the new MP Series plastic-mounting bracket is quick and easy to install for datacomm and alarm devices. After snapping off the perforated retainer tabs and positioning them onto the serrated legs, installers simply outline the area utilizing the bracket's template points and cut a hole. The bracket easily bends into the hole, and the tabs are squeezed until the plate and tabs are tight against the drywall. The recessed design assures a flush mount of the device.
