RedVector Among First To Launch 2011 National Electrical Code (NEC) Courses

The courses spotlight changes to the Introduction and first two chapters of the 2011 NEC and are the first in a series of courses currently in development to cover the 2011 NEC in its entirety.

First published in 1897, the NEC is the national standard for safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment, and an updated edition of the handbook is published every three years. The new online courses offered by RedVector apply to the additions and modifications to the 2011 NEC (released in October 2010), which includes updates reflecting the increased demand for green technology and alternative energy.

• 2011 NEC Code Change Articles 90-110 A one-hour course focusing on the changes to the Introduction and the Chapter 1 General Articles 100 and 110.
• 2011 NEC Code Change Articles 200-280 A 2-hour course focusing on the changes in the Chapter 2 General Articles 200, 210, 225, 230, 240 and 250.
