Relectric Helps Restore Circuit Breakers & Other Electrical Gear In The Wake Of Hurricane Sandy

Relectric provides immediate onsite and offsite testing, repair, replacement or remanufacturing of circuit breakers, switchgear and motor controls (up to 15KV) as businesses regain power after Hurricane Sandy.

Shelton, CT (PRWEB)

Relectric has mobilized a field crew of over 10 sales engineers and 25 electrical service technicians in the northeast in response to outages caused by Hurricane Sandy.

"Our sales engineers are literally on the phones and driving around 24 hours a day right now to prevent unnecessary downtime for our customers, and for their customers," noted Relectric CEO Anthony Robinson. "There has been a massive amount of electrical infrastructure impacted by wind and water damage - switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers and motor control centers. We want to make sure people know that we're out here and able to help with immediate solutions."

Relectric anticipates there being an influx of calls for onsite service and remanufacturing work as a result of the catastrophic damage Hurricane Sandy unleashed on the eastern seaboard. Relectric also sees the need for service up and down the power distribution grid. "We see electrical systems from 208V , 480V, 4160V and even 15KV and up impacted by this storm. Fortunately, our technicians are equiped to handle all voltages and all vintages of switchgear, so we can help in almost any situation," Robinson explained.

Relectric operates locations across the country which has allowed them to keep their customer service center and primary distribution facilities open through the turmoil. While there may be business out of power today, companies like Relectric are working hard to get power systems back up and running as quickly as possible.
