The CORE program allows customers to quickly and economically replace their RIFOCS 5800 Series multimode and 5900 Series single-mode reference cables
RIFOCS Corporation has announced the launch of its Cable Optical Reference Exchange (CORE) program, which gives manufacturers the opportunity to exchange a used reference cable for a recertified cable of the same type.

The CORE program allows customers to quickly and economically replace their RIFOCS 5800 Series multimode and 5900 Series single-mode reference cables regardless of whether or not the cable can indeed be recertified.

RIFOCS Corp. developed the CORE program to meet the overwhelming needs of manufacturers who deal with frequent connector misuse and subsequent cable deterioration. Customers participating in the CORE program will be able to replace worn-out or damaged reference cables on an exchange basis without hassle.

RIFOCS reference cables are manufactured to tighter tolerances and higher standards than regular fiber optic cables and conform to stringent insertion loss (-0.15dB), return loss (+55dB for PC, +65dB for APC) and endface specifications. RIFOCS reference cables are also accompanied by a Certificate of Compliance and a plot of the endface geometry.
