Rotary and Chipping Hammers
An Electronic Feedback Control Circuit (EFCC), coupled with a motor, produces a 13-amp power package that delivers a soft-start, maintains speed under load and provides reserve power for drilling bigger holes. All models work at speeds of 150-400 RPM and 1,300-3,450 BPM, and deliver a hard impact of 8.6 ft.-lbs. per blow.
Combining durability and functionality, the rotary and chipping hammers come standard with the manufacturer's patented Vibration Isolation System, allowing both the main grip and side handle to "float" independently of the vibrating hammer to cushion and absorb vibration, reducing operator fatigue. The tools are ergonomically designed with a quick-change side handle, with front and rear mounting positions, and cushioned handles for a comfortable grip. In addition, the hammers come with a conveniently located variable speed control dial for added flexibility and accurate hole positioning.
Both the model 5345-21 Spline Drive and model 5346-21 SDS-Max Drive Rotary Hammers have a 6 in. core bit capacity and a stop rotation feature, actuated by the soft-shift mode selector knob, for setting self-drilling anchors. The model 5345-21 Spline Drive Rotary Hammer provides efficient transmission of torque to the bit. It comes with a quick release depth gauge and heavy-duty steel carrying case.
The SDS-Max Drive Rotary Hammer (model 5346-21) has 15 chisel positions for greater tool versatility. It also comes with a quick release depth gauge and heavy-duty steel carrying case.
Designed for demolition-only applications, the model 5336-22 high performance Chipping Hammer has a round/hex tool holder design. The kit comes with the tool, three chisels and heavy-duty steel carrying case.
