SDS Rotary Hammer

This new ¾-in. SDS rotary hammer, model 5383-21, is ideal for contractors, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and maintenance personnel. The tool combines a compact, lightweight design with a powerful 6.0 amp motor.

It bores 5/32-in. to 3/4-in. anchor holes in concrete, masonry, block or brick using SDS style bits. According to the manufacturer, its 1.9-ft.-lb. blow energy, 0-1,270 rpm and 0-5,400 bpm speed are the highest rated in its class.

In addition, the hammer features a variable speed switch with "reverse," "hammer with rotation", and "rotation only" operating modes. It also features an ergonomic cushioned grip for comfort and control, a durable, impact-resistant carrying case, a depth gauge, and side handle.
