Conductor Bar Systems for Crane Equipment
When Span-Guard was introduced nearly 40 years ago, it was the first continuous, joint-free insulated conductor bar ever introduced. Today it remains one of the most trusted and reliable mobile conductor systems on the market. Span-Guard is completely user-friendly. It can easily be cut to length, shipped on a reel and rolled into place. Because there are few parts, installation and maintenance is fast and easy. Span-Guard's flexible cover completely insulates and protects the bar from the most severe industrial and weather conditions, including corrosive fumes and harsh outdoor temperatures as low as –40 degrees F to as high as 180 degrees F. The insulated cover also protects the conductor bar from damage and helps prevent personnel from accidental contact with live parts.
Components and Applications
Span-Guard is designed without joints in its copper conductor or insulated cover; therefore costly problems associated with joints are eliminated. It's also fully enclosed and insulated with a flexible cover, making it the leading conductor bar system for durability and safety.
