Pelsue is the leader in manufacturing ventilators, blowers, heaters, tents, canopies, portable lamps, splicing trailers, mobile power trailers, confined space ventilation, pop up tents, manhole equipment, and utility equipment. Ventilators and blowers and heaters and tents make up a large portion of their business. The ventilators, blowers, heaters and all other products manufactured at Pelsue are specifically designed for safety.

T. A. (Al) Pelsue was a pioneer in the field of confined space ventilators. Early in the post W.W.II period he began to develop a one piece ventilating-heater for use to ventilate telephone manholes. In the early 1950s he was awarded the first of many patents, and the technology was the basis of his partnership with L. R. Morrison. The Morrison, Pelsue Company (MoPeCo) was founded c. 1951. He sold his interest to Mr. Morrison in 1962.

In 1963 Al Pelsue developed and patented the manhole shield (type 2730) which today remains the best recognized device of its kind.

Together with his wife Patricia, who maintained the customer service and business office located in their house on Hibiscus Way in Denver, they developed a full range of products for the utility construction industry.

From Telephones to the trenches, Pelsue provides a range of safety and construction products for CATV, Electric, Gas, Water, Sewer, and Industrial facilities.

The Trailer Mobile Power Unit was introduced in 1964 and is designed to integrate all of the equipment used at a manhole or cable vault into one trailer, and so simplifying the vehicle storage requirements and worksite preparations.

Tents were introduced to cover manholes. Then our 6500 series tents were developed, and a revolution of worksite equipment began to be developed.

Pelsue introduced manhole and work area lighting. Our trailer products soon were joined by a line of van and truck interiors providing the same worksite equipment for rapid deployment of the underground worker.

Fiber Optics have been a focus of Pelsue since we were involved in placing the first fiber cables across the Golden Gate Bridge. Our Fiber Optic Splicing Trailers today set the standard for quality splicing environments. We have worked with Bell Labs, and many of the technical laboratories of other major suppliers to the telephone industry in order to provide equipment and methods enhancing the cable splicing process and worker safety.

Recreational Products are a recent addition to the Pelsue product line. These include our Camping Tents, Ice Fishing Tents, and Special Events Tents, Shelters, and Heaters.
