T&D Solutions Expands With Acquisition Of E&R Inc.

Alexandria, LA /PRNewswire/ - T&D Solutions, a powerline maintenance and construction company, today announced that it has acquired E&R Inc., a Kinston, North Carolina-based provider of utility distribution, transmission, and substation construction and maintenance services. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

E&R has been in operation since 1968 and has deep relationships with key investor owned utilities, co-ops, and government entities in its region. With the addition of E&R, T&D Solutions will operate over 125 powerline crews in over 10 states throughout Texas, the Southeast, and the East Coast.

This is the second acquisition for T&D Solutions following a strategic investment in January from Huntsman Gay Global Capital, a leading middle market private equity firm based in Palo Alto, California.
