WESCO Acquires CCA

WESCO International, Inc. (Pennsylvania, PA) recently completed their acquisition of Control Corporation of America (CCA) headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. CCA, with 150 employees and 1999 sales of approximately $50 million, provides electrical distribution services and engineering solutions for industrial automation systems. The company's product offering includes:
  • motors
  • drives
  • PLC's
  • sensors
  • operator interfaces

CCA focuses on providing turnkey solutions and services, including training and field support.

WESCO is a publicly traded Fortune 500 holding company, whose primary operating entity is WESCO Distribution, Inc. WESCO Distribution is a distributor of MRO (maintenance, repair, and operating) products and advanced integrated supply procurement outsourcing services headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It operates more than 330 full service branches throughout North America.
